Let it begin! For the Americans from the two major political parties:

Republicans want to use their own money to help others -
Bush's tax returns for years show he donates 10% of all his income to charity. Last year Cheney gave something like 75% (and still had a couple million left over).

Democrats want to use other people's money to help others -
Al Gore, for several years, gave nothing to charity
Kerry - nothing - until it became a campaign issue, then a little bit - then back to nothing.
Hillary? She took $5 deductions for used underpants given to Goodwill! Some of the posters here would've paid a lot more! So she has no business sense!

I vote Democrat! I'll get more! From the rest of you! Thank you!

Hmmm, Wikipedia says a troll is a person who enters unknown forums who bashes and insults forum members with unfounded arguments.
Unknown forums? Insults? Don't think so. Josh set up the Cockpit so people having political arguments would have a place to go. No one took it there. It'd been up for a couple of days. So I had a little kickoff fun (Let it Begin).
In typical forum fashion you launched a personal insult. Didn't ignore something that didn't concern you or just said to yourself "oh well, another lunatic." Felt the need to correct someone else and tell them how to live their life. Run the forum. Didn't comment on the topic (sarcastic topic or not). I've been reading this community's comments longer than you've been registered. Never had much to say - serious or not. But gee, someone from south Florida can post over 1,000 comments in just a year and take upon themselves mantle of moderator. Wow. Quantity of posts equals quality of thought. Got it.

"Uhm" isn't. What was showing Sunday was not "Uhm" but a "I hear chirping crickets in the background, get lost troll" comment. That comment's been deleted, replaced by the innocent "Uhm."
